WOODEN STORMPROOF WINDOWS - CHOICE OF WOODS AVAILABLE

Stormproof windows are a modern variation of the traditional casement window. On a stormproof window the casement slightly
overlaps when closed to ensure a completely watertight/weathertight fit. The pictures shown below have trickle vents but you may not need these as our espag locking system has a night ventilation option i.e. the window can be locked when not fully closed. Check with your building inspector.

Our stormproof windows are fitted with modern friction hinges as standard these allow the window to stay open without the need for casement stays. Stormproof windows are also fitted with espag locking system as standard.

Traditional stormproof hinges are also available but with this option you would need the casement stays and the espag locking system
is only available in wrought iron finish

Our stormproof windows are fitted with modern friction hinges as standard these allow the window to stay open without the need for casement stays. Stormproof windows are also fitted with espag locking system as standard (see picture below).

All our windows are made to your specific requirements by our skilled joiners. They are of mortice and tenon construction and are made using
only the highest quality kiln dried sustainable timber. Windows are available in European Oak, Iroko, Idigbo and Sapele

For energy efficiency our windows are supplied with 4/16/4 (24mm) PLANITHERM argon gas filled double glazed units
(U value of 1.2) with warm edge spacers. We can supply other types of glass or supply the windows without.

*Our windows are heavy so for delivery and fitting purposes glass is supplied only glazing beads are supplied cut to size.

Our windows are supplied with trickle vents (if required), weatherseal to all sashes and window ironmongery
